Born in 2011, the U Rock festival is an intercollegiate competition of bands to promote emerging musical talents. It is a charitable event that students look forward to every year. Participants audition to qualify for the festival. Winners earn prizes such as cash, certificates, trophies, photo shoots and professional studio recording sessions.
